Sculling Clinic at Clear Lake Scullers – you are invited to barbq!

Clear Lake Scullers is hosting a sculling clinic for experienced scullers from the Bay Area.  Between 15-20 scullers have signed up for instruction and coaching from Mike Sullivan on the weekend of Sept 29-Oct 1.

On Saturday, Sept 30, Clear Lake Scullers will be putting on a barbq for the clinic and for all present, former, and future Clear Lake Scullers members.   The party starts at 4 pm and will be located at Quercus Ranch, 4150 Soda Bay Road about ¼ mile West of Gaddy Lane.    Please bring a side dish.

Rowing Shells for Sale

Mike has set aside a number of single sculls of a wide variety to sell.   None of these are boats currently at the boatyard, or usually at the boatyard (like yellow 1X that is in process of repair.)    The variety of boats range from tub singles to wooden racing hulls at a price between $500-$2000.    I will give CLS members first shot before I advertise them.   In addition, full year members may have an opportunity to borrow select shells if they live on or near the water and don’t want to travel to Lakeport to get on the water.   I have a kayak and canoe for sale as well.
